Since I have owned them my two dogs have had major health problems. I was constantly taking them to the vet for skin irritation among other things. My Great Dane"Harley" was always getting patches on her skin that were red and flaky and would cause the hair to fall out. These patches were on her belly and along the sides on her abdomen. She would constantly lick and bite at them causing even more inflammation and redness. My Jack Russel "Jack" would constantly bite and gnaw at his feet because of the same type of redness and inflammation as Harley. He too had some spots on his belly. So after many vet visits, scraping, and testing, the answer was as vague as "They must have some sort of allergy, but we don't know what is causing it." Our only solution was topical creams and ointments, steroids, and antihistamines. This all without much help, and I was spending a lot of money.

Well, I was finally introduced to Shaklee by my boy friend Marc. As you all know Marc is a Shaklee kid and the house he lives in has been cleaned by only Shaklee products and the "Get Clean Line" Well you guessed it Shortly after we met, me and my "our" animals were spending a lot of time there and the skin problems slowly but surely started to diminish. It was the cleaning chemicals in the carpet! It all made sense. All the irritation was on their feet and undersides, where they would lay and walk on the carpet and floors. Not only were they getting better but my allergies were getting better too. In the last year and a half I have not had to give Jack or Harley any medication in addition to their normal flea and tick prevention, and their skin and coats are great.

In addition to a good diet I also add Shaklee's Omega Guard to their diet to improve dry skin and the shine and quality of their coats. It also helps a lot with excess shedding. To top it all off, my allergies are so much better that Marc and I were able to rescue two kittens and keep them, without me having to take allergy medication any more. So to sum it all up, because of Shaklee's "Get Clean" line and the addition of many of their great vitamins and supplements, we have a healthy home with very healthy animals in it, with a lot of savings.
