In 1979 our family lived in Heritage Hills, a family neighborhood south of Chapel Hill. At the time our daughter Annmarie was one year old. One of our neighbors was Cheryl Jeffries who also had a one year old daughter. We became friends through our girls play group. Cheryl had good advice and knowledge concerning health and more specifically how natural vitamins and minerals work in the body. My interest peaked because my older sons needed alternatives to medicines which were not working on their allergies.
